Hook Me Up Sister! is the pefect mix of roasted California garlic, air-dried shallots, tasty chives, cracked black pepper and a few other tasty bits. This blend will add layers upon layers of FLAVOR to simple things such as sour cream and cream cheese to make an easy dip and roasted vegetables to more complex dishes like casseroles, soups and stews. Our family won't eat eggs without it! If you've tried it, you love it. You haven't, you will once you do!
Here's a reciped for the best, never fail, mashed potatoes. It will become a family fave!
Let me "Hook You Up" with the tastiest mashed potato recipe ever!
Serves 4, double for more!
8 med Yukon gold potatoes 
1 Tbsp **chicken or veggie base
(I recommend @betterthanbouillon )
1 stick unsalted butter 
1 cup of milk 
1/2 cup grated parmesan 
1/4 cup HOOK ME UP SISTER! 
Quarter potatoes. 
Bring water to a roaring boil. 
Add chicken or veggie base to the water and stir until dissolved. Note: You can use 2 bullion cubes or already prepared chicken or veggie broth instead of the base.
Boil the potatoes until they easily break apart with a fork, around 20 minutes or so.
In the meantime, melt butter in a saucepan. Add in the milk, parmesan and HOOK ME UP SISTER! and set aside.
Once the potatoes are cooked through, drain into a colander and then return to the pot. Add the butter mixture and get to mashin'. I use a manual potato masher, but hand beaters or a stand mixer will work too. However, don't over-mash as your potatoes will become gummy or paste-like and that is no bueno! Never ever use a blender or food processor!

Q: Peel or not to peel?
A: It is optional. I don't. The skins on youkon golds are full of flavor and nutrition and they are so thin that once mashed you don't even notice them.
Q: Why Yukon gold and not Russet?
A: Yukon golds are starchier and have a natural butter flavor. I think they offer an amazing texture and flavor compared to Russets. However, it is A-Okay to substitute!
